Has anyone ever called you a sharp cookie? Are you good and comfortable with technology? Are you not afraid to clean and keep things in order? I am accepting applications for a part-time APM at a local self-storage facility. This facility is corporate-owned (but not one of those HUGE national places that are impossible to work for and offer low pay.)

Our position is part-time, about 29 hours a week, and does provide standard benefits such as health, vision, dental, 401k, etc... I think you'll find the pay is near the top of the industry.

This is a growing company and I also expect and hope that the manager position, or another if you can relocate, will be available very soon. Experience in customer service positions are helpful, storage experience is not required. We'll have fun and most of the time, I think you'll find it's an easy job.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Sales of boxes, locks, storage units, truck rental, and packing material
Assist in the management of accounts receivable process through the pursuit of collections
Post payments to customer accounts and process daily bank deposits
Ensure the company standards of cleanliness & appearance of self and property
Perform light repair and maintenance duties, including but not limited to: clean units and interior buildings, wiping down doors, pickup up trash, cleaning hallways, cleaning offices, and bathrooms
Perform preventive maintenance such as but not limited to: changing HVAC filters as required, lubricating springs and rollers on garage doors, spraying weeds, and routine maintenance.
Monitors the physical condition of the property and reports any maintenance issues
Assist with the auction process

Skills needed or to develop:

Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have a High School Diploma/GED
Two years of related experience in sales or customer service
Excellent communication skills both on the phone and in person
Ability & willingness to perform light maintenance such as sweeping, mopping, wiping, lifting, etc.
Works well in a team setting or independently
Has good organizational skills and basic bookkeeping
Experience in office computer operations required (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Etc.)
Valid driver's license and insurance and reliable transportation
Open work availability, including weekends and some holidays

Job requires constant movement and must be able to lift and move 35 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
