Butcher’s Market & Deli is seeking a seasoned Kitchen Operations Manager to oversee daily culinary operations. We are a high-volume, established deli and market looking for a "hands-on" leader to manage production, staff, and inventory.
Responsibilities:
• Kitchen Leadership: Manage daily lunch service setup and oversee prep staff (Line Cooks/Prep Cooks).
• Menu Management: Develop and execute creative daily specials and oversee the production of prepared meals and house-made soups.
• Logistics: Manage inventory, place vendor orders, and handle daily sourcing runs.
• Quality Control: Ensure every sandwich and prepared meal meets our 11-year standard of excellence.
Requirements:
• 5+ years of kitchen management or lead chef experience.
• Strong understanding of food cost, inventory management, and SOPs.
• Ability to work early morning hours and handle the physical demands of a busy deli.
• Valid driver’s license for local sourcing runs.
Compensation: $20-$25 depending on experience]
