First, this is not a Benjamin Adam's saxophone. It is a "Benjamin" Tenor Saxophone that was supposedly designed by the instrument repair specialist at Portman's Music in Savannah and I imagine Benjamin became their store brand name. Looking at the photos you'll see that the low note keys are double braced. You might compare this saxophone to the Cannonball Stone series for performance and retail pricing. That said, at $1600.00, this represents a great bargain. This sax and case are in like new condition and the polished black nickel finish is beautiful. I'm selling my saxophone collection which also includes a Martin Handcraft Committee Tenor Sax at $1200.00, a Selmer Signet Tenor Sax at $575.00 and a D.C. PRO Series II Soprano Sax at $700.00. Willing to meet in a public area around the Hilton Head Plantation vicinity. Only interested in a cash sale. Thanks for looking.
