Banjo is in very good to excellent condition with very few signs of use. Going by the serial number, this banjo's production date is somewhere between 1920-1930. Take a look at the ornate carving on the neck--this is very rare and I've never seen one like it. It is in remarkable condition for its age and the craftsmanship is impressive. It's kind of like going back in a time machine when you play this thing. It sounds amazing. The pictures don't do it justice.
Original Vega case is in fair to rough condition with heavy signs of age and wear, with some degradation of the leather exterior but all buckles are intact and functional--however interior of case is in good condition with no tears. Also included is the original Vega banjo key--which is essential, as well as an assortment of new strings.
